Take down and Hang up

Busy morning as the show in Hycroft finished and the next show at the Unitarian Church from September 2nd to October 31st was put up. Good day to do it as the rain just kept coming down outside! Also heard from the Federation of Canadian Artists that my submission to the Scenes from Western Canada Show didn't make it. Felt disappointed, but have to realize all the great things that have happened over the summer, everything can't be always so upbeat. More challenges to get more paintings done now for future shows! I hope to complete pieces for the North Shore Arts Council Anynomous show and the Ten Squared 2014 show for the Federation. In the meantime, the next few weeks are filled with more Plein Air - Sept 13 & 14th is the Gibsons Plein Air, Paint Out - free to anyone going up to the Sunshine Coast. Check out Jan Poynter's website http://janpoynter.com/gibsons-paint-out/. Then there is the upcoming Richmond Grand Prix of Plein Air on Sept. 20th in Steveston website http://grandprixofart.com/. Happy Painting everyone!
