Howling wind at my window

I sit next to the fireplace right now and listen to the howling wind coming off of False Creek.  The weather has turned to the better, I can see hints of blue sky after so much rain this week.

Not that I would have noticed as I am in the midst of putting together an art show, prepping for next weeks watercolour class and starting to gather my material for updating websites.

I caught up on my West Van Art Council membership profile, a bit of Linked in and my website.  It just seems these things take time and more time and need a really good timetable where each day I remember to freshen up photos and upload new art.

I appreciate everyone who reads my blog and follows me and I will try to be more attentive to updating you on new watercolour ideas and events.

the Small exhibit at the Federation Gallery is the next on April 5th.

mid Main Art Fair happens June 5th at 3102 Main Street, Vancouver.

best tip I can bring to the table is using cobalt and moonglow by Daniel smith together in a background wash! Also I really intrigued my students when I washed a face on watercolour paper in verifiable and purple - they get to see the results next week when I add a glaz of burnt sienna overtop...

I'll write more on the results after Wednesday.
