I have been asked to give some private lessons in watercolour and it has been a very interesting challenge. Zoom works great, but making sure my student has the best use of the technology is a little difficult.
I can show videos of my process, discuss and show bits and pieces for questions, but lighting and successfully switching back and forth is not the same as being in a classroom. Most important will be if the images that the student creates can be conveyed and discussed enough so there is positive reinforcement and growth.
2 sessions in to this and I have great ideas, but everything takes a lot of time. First it's the process, then filming, then editing and then more writing with additional pictures and traceable sketches. Then it's organizing the meeting, sending out info and invite and then doing the actual session. Wow - nothing like steep learning curve!
