Bee in the moment

enjoying time to paint as classes were completed March 7th.  That same evening was the opening at Caffe Mira with fun entertainment and a cozy atmosphere.  Really appreciated all the people that attended!

since then it’s already more than a week since writting my to do list, but haven’t been able to tackle the new projects that i’ve Wanted to.  I have some 20x16 cherry blossom watercolours that have been driving me a little mad.  When I look at them, I am frustrated by my background colour.  I had added too much tonal grey and found the fresh ‘pinks’ are just not remaining - it’s looking a little too grey for me.  Two rounds of trying this and still not what I was expecting.  Time to try something else to break the cycle. I even reset the entirepainting to get a softer image, still not what I was expecting.

now with the warmth and sun appearing- need to get some time outside and capture the return of spring!
