Watercolour with Sonia Mocnik

Thursday Morning Classes - begin again September 20, 2018. 9 to 12:00

Instruction will be focused on a variety of painting styles. It will incorporate colour theory, composition and some drawing to help students discover what corresponds to their authentic self. Students will be encouraged to play with the medium and also the elements of the design to achieve a creative and personal expression in their paintings. Some experience is an asset.

I will work on several projects so that there is time for painting, exploring style, colour and composition.  I encourage students to bring their own subject matter to paint.  I will have demos and write ups so students can follow and paint along with the demo or sit, watch and enjoy the demo and then go back to their own project.  We review different artists time permitting and provide online references as well for people to review at their leisure.

Bring your watercolor supplies and supplies of your favorite watercolor paper and we will work with this and explore more.
